STARCASE 2022

It is time to enter your act for The STARCASE Talent Show!

Sponsored by the Roosevelt PTO and open to current Roosevelt students 1st-6th grade. This is a wonderful, festive tradition at our school that gives students a chance to share their talents with friends, family and the faculty/staff at Roosevelt School.

• Registration (with a $5 donation PER child) and Agreement & Release forms must be completed  by November 16 (forms will be available online starting November 2, 2018). 
• An act may be performed by one person or a group. It may be any one or a combination
  of the following: singing (no lip synching), dancing, magic, comedy, dramatic scene,
  instrumental music, or display of special skill (gymnastics, karate, etc.)
• This year students may perform in a group act as well as ONE solo or another small group (for a total of 2 acts). However, there are a limited number of acts permitted, so participants will be determined on a first-come first-serve basis.
• All Acts must be 2 minutes or less.
• All acts must be presented in their entirety at the Starcase Preview on Monday, December 10, 3:00pm-6:00pm in the New Gym.
• Performers will be given notice by e-mail as to the order in which the acts will perform their preview. Acts not prepared in their entirety or deemed inappropriate will be eliminated.
• Music (2 minutes max) must be edited precisely to the time and actual music you want
  played for your act. All music must be submitted electronically.
• The Dress Rehearsal is Tuesday, January 15: ACT 1 starting promptly at 4:30 pm,
  Act 2 starting at 6:00 pm at the RDHS Auditorium.
• All acts must be in full costume with all props for dress rehearsal.
• This year there will be a finale number (curtain call) at the end of the show. Please plan on staying until the end!
